One of the best things about partnering with TRESemmé during NYFW was that I got the chance to go backstage for several shows. One of my favorites was definitely the Banana Republic presentation. Even if I could afford all the Monique Luillier gowns, it’s not like I have black-tie events every week. Banana Republic is another story, the pieces were AMAZING and they are reasonably priced.

Lo mejor de trabajar junto a TRESemmé durante la Semana de la Moda en Nueva York (aparte de peinarme todos los dÃas) fue que me invitaron a varios desfiles y detrás de bastidores. Una de mis presentaciones favoritas fue la de Banana Republic. Aunque pudiese comprar todos los vestidos de Monique Luillier, no es como si tengo eventos formales todas las semanas. En cambio Banana Republic tiene piezas relativamente "económicas" e igual de espectaculares.

You have no idea I how long it took me to convince Gabo to have a small section on the blog..now he's like "when are we taking photos for "his klozet"? ". As you can see, he has been wearing shorts non-stop...and I can't blame him! It's so hot in Miami- and men don't have as much variety in styles/fabrics. So the idea behind this outfit was to show you a more dressed up look with shorts (so it's still appropriate for the summer). I hope you still like this idea; I absolutely love being behind the camera. Big hugs from both of us!!

Tantó que me costó convencerlo para que tuviese su propia sección en el blog .. y ahora me dice "vamos a tomar fotos para his klozet". Ultimamente Gabo ha estado usando shorts 24 horas al dÃa, 7 dÃas a la semana-¿ como no? el clima en Miami está extremadamente caluroso y los hombres no son tan aforturnados como nosotras en cuanto a variedad de telas y estilos. Esta vez la idea era mostrarles un look más "arregladito" pero con shorts- de manera que fuese más apropiado para el verano. Espero que sigan disfrutan la idea de "his klozet"- a mi me encanta estar detrás de la cámara! Un abrazo inmenso de parte de ambos!

A couple of months ago, I begged Gaby to do a celebrity inspired look with me (we did Kourtney and Scott, click here if you haven't seen it)- we had so much fun so we decided we wanted to do it more often. This time we chose Olivia Palermo and her boyfriend Johannes Huebl- I love her style, she always looks so put together... and apparently.. her boyfriend too. As you can see, the pieces are not identical- it's all about the general feeling of the outfit. Let's talk about the price- just Olivia's bag is over $12,000, while my whole look (including sunglasses and watch) is $240. About our day: we had lunch with his family and then we headed to a frozen yogurt place, Then, something came over me and I started "remodeling the house"- I want to even move the furniture.
