The closet of the modern woman has to be extremely versatile;  you should have pieces that help you remix your wardrobe... pieces that you can mix and match and every look will feel and look different.  For example, this look has two key pieces: (1) a  textured sweater and (2) a modern pencil skirt. You can wear the sweater with some boyfriend jeans and cute flats for a laid back look; or with dressy pants to go to the office. Same with the skirt, you can definitely go out by pairing it with a crop top or you can wear it with a classic blouse and head out to work. This time I wore the two pieces together but I added a hat to make the look a little younger. Hope you are having a great hump day! XOXO

Siento que el closet de la mujer moderna tiene que ser extremadamente versátil; debe estar compuesto de piezas que puedas re-usar un millón de veces... y que depende con que lo combines, tu look se vea completamente distinto. Por ejemplo, en este look llevo dos piezas claves: (1) un suéter con textura y (2) una falda recta con un toque moderno. El suéter lo puedes usar con jeans y flats para un día cómodo o con unos pantalones formales y un blazer para ir a la oficina. Igual la falda, puedes combinarla con un top cortito para salir en la noche o con una blusa clásica para la oficina. En esta ocasión quise mezclar lo casual del suéter con lo arregladito de la falda, y el sombrero le da un toque más juvenil. ¡¡Les mando un abrazo grandísimo!!

This is my third look for H&M's 50 states of Fashion campaign- remember this is the last day to enter to win a $1,000 giftcard plus a trip for two to NYFW. I absolutely love H&M, but they have to fix their sizing...it varies a lot from piece to piece. I wish I have ordered this pants a size bigger. I mean I like how they look but a looser fit would be more comfortable. I love the color and the print; I want to pair them with something navy blue. I wore this to go out with Gabo's friends from high school around "Old San Juan". Hope you liked the look! XOXO

Hoy les muestro mi tercer look parte de la campaña de H&M "50 states of Fashion" y les recuerdo que hoy es el último día para mandar sus fotos utilizando el hashtag #hmShopOnlineXX (las XX siendo el estado donde vives. Por ejemplo: yo utilizo #hmShopOnlineFL). Al mandar tu foto participas para ganar $1000 en mercancía de H&M y un viaje para dos a la Semana de la Moda en Nueva York.

Yo adoro H&M, pero lo único que tiene raro son las tallas ya que varían mucho entre pieza y pieza. Estos pantalones me hubiera gustado pedirlos una talla más grande para que fueran un poquito más cómodos. Me encanta este color borgoña; especialmente al combinarlo con tonos azul marino, crema, o negro. Esto lo utilicé para salir por el viejo San Juan con los amigos del colegio de Gabo en Puerto Rico. Espero que les haya gustado! Un abrazo grandísimo!

I've always mentioned how my main source of inspiration are...other personal style blogs. Being a fashion blogger doesn't mean you need to have a 100% unique style. I love taking ideas from other blogs and making them my own style. A couple of weeks ago, Raquel from "Our Favorite Style" reached out to me so for a blog collaboration...and this idea came to my head. So why not make it a bi-monthly section on the blog? So keep an eye for this blogger swapping...

Looking for what look to swap with Raquel was hard, her style is very cute and I see myself wearing a lot of her outfits. I ended wearing this one because I had almost identical pieces. Even though the color of the shorts is different, the basic is exactly the same: neon shorts, denim shirt, gold necklace, and nude booties. I hope you like the idea of this segment and I hope I'll introduce you to an amazing group of bloggers !

Siempre les he mencionado que una de mis mayores inspiraciones al vestirme son los otros blogs de estilo personal- no por ser una blogger uno tiene que ser 100% vanguardista. A mi me encanta poder tomar ideas de otra persona y hacerlas "YO". Hace unas semanas, Raquel de Our Favorite Style me contactó para hacer algún tipo de colaboración juntas...así que dije: ¿por que no hacerlo una sección seguida en el blog? Razón por la cual de ahora en adelante quiero continuar esto de "Blogger swap" o Intercambio blogger.

La búsqueda de que look "intercambiar" con Raquel fue difícil, ella tiene un estilo muy lindo y me pondría todos sus outfits. Terminé escogiendo este outfit ya que tenía las mismas piezas o similares. Aunque el color del short es diferente, las bases de la combinación son las mismas: shorts neón, camisa de jean, collar dorado, y botas nude. Espero que les guste la idea de esta sección y espero presentarles a un grupo de blogueras geniales con diferentes estilos.
