I really like doing monthly wishlists because it gives me an idea of what I want/need- so when I go shopping I have an idea of what to look for.
1. White lace dress: I felt in love with this dress from Forever 21- but it's sold out! I've been looking everywhere for a similar style.
2. Nude wedges: sometimes I feel like my black or brown wedges don't go with what I want to wear, the nude color makes my legs look longer and it's perfect for the hot Miami weather.
3. Wide-leg jeans: this is the second time I've added those jeans to this list. I'm very picky when it comes to jeans- specially since I don't wear them often. I really like the 70's feeling and I want to add them to my "klozet".
4. The Essie Braziliant summer collection: look at those colors, do I need to say more!?
5. Nude flats: they are super casual and they go with everything!
6. A pink-ish romper: I loved how Kourtney Kardashian wore a similar romper with a white blazer- it looked amazing. I really want to steal her look, and this one is very versatile.
7. A Halston inspired dress: remember the purple dress SJP wore during SATC2? This one is very similar and just twenty-something dollars.
8. A transparent umbrella: It's so rainy in Miami during July- I want to get a super stylish umbrella, and a transparent one goes with absolutely everything.
9. A Furla Candy bag... or this one for less. I love the Candy bag, but I hate the price tag (it's around $200 and it's sold out everywhere). Romwe just started selling an identical looking bag for $77.
10. Bright & colorful shorts!

Leopard shoes: American Eagle (via Ebay). Shorts and denim shirt: Forever 21. Ring, bag and earrings: Mimi Boutique.
Today's post is not about the outfit, it's about the place. We were eating nearby and I really wanted to take pictures there since it's such a beautiful square. It was built in the early 40's and it's definitely one of Caraca's landmarks (and you can see "El Avila- the mountain- in the background). When you get out of the subway, you see this beautiful fountain and the huge obelisk. I hope you like the pics, I want to go back and take more pictures since it's such a great location. Friday's almost here! Hope you had a great week!

If we buy key pieces that we can pair with different things, our closet becomes HUGE. Also, I'll include the links so you can check out the outfits if you haven't :).
I got this tee at Forever 21 around January,2011 and, even though at first I wasn't a big fan of animal print, I love it.

1. Interview @ CONOS 2. Taylor Swift Concert 3. Red Jeans & leopard 4. Leopard at Sea 5. Have you tried this yet?

Previous Challenges:
What's "I challenge you to..."? It's weekly special where we (Flor de Maria Fashion & I) challenge our readers and bloggers around the globe to wear specific trends- and we would love if you could join us. Every Tuesday we'll publish the next challenge, and then on Mondays: we'll show you how we wore the trend and you'll be able to share your link&outfit. We were inspired by "Bloggers do it better" but we want to give our own twist to it!
Next week’s challenge: (07/05/2011 - 07/11/2011) We Challenge you to … Take over somebody else's closet!
We are super excited about this challenge and we hope you like the ideas as much as we do. We think this is going to be one of the most fun challenges , because you get to take over your mom's, dad's, boyfriend's, sibling's, friend's closet! This is your perfect excuse to wear their clothes. Sounds like fun right? It is up to you, if you dress from head to toe with someone else's clothes or you mix their clothes with yours. Are you in?

RETOS PASADOS:

Another forgotte outfits- I took these pics a couple of weeks ago in Miami. I thought they were very simple and a little different from the typical outfit post- reason why I forgot to share them with you! BTW don't forget to enter for a chance to win a Mimi Boutique necklace, read all the details HERE.

I'm so upset that I couldn't enter last week's challenge! I kept waiting but my blazer is not ready yet. I went to the tailor today and he said that it'll be ready next week- I'll post my primary colors outfit next week (hopefully!!). As you might know, I'm not home and I really have to work with what I brought. I decided to wear these contrasting colors, I love how they look together (even though, I felt a little like a watermelon!). My day is not over yet but I really wanted to share the outfit before it gets too late! I hope you liked it! Thank you so much for visiting the blog and thanks to everyone who participated this week! (Don't forget to add you link at the end of this post!!).

Yesterday my mom cooked a type of soup called "chupe", and she told me to invite my friends over to eat. Before my friends got there, I made my dad be the photographer of the day- since my mom was busy cooking. We just took a couple of pictures but I prefer sharing these three photos than not posting anything at all. I wanted to wear something comfy and casual, I Iike wearing this long skirt with a tank because it looks like a maxi dress. I know I've been wearing this bag a lot but I tried to pack as little as I could (and the nude color goes with everything). After eating "chupe", we had dessert, and we talked until midnight. I don't know why I started doing makeovers, I did a friend's makeup (she wanted "the kim kardashian slutty look lol), and I curled their hair too. How was your weekend? XOXO
