When you live in Miami (or any tropical location), the best way to update your wardrobe for each season is to play with colors. When I think of Spring, I always think of pastel colors and fun floral prints.  I think Ted Baker always has the best original prints for Spring….and I couldn't help with fall in love with the latest collection (with has the coolest Instagram campaign!!). The #Pinch_Me campaign pictures have hidden messages and figures that appear when you play with the Instagram filters. Al vivir en Miami (o en cualquier ciudad tropical), la mejor manera de cambiar tu guardarropa cada temporada es jugar con los colores. Cuando me dicen Primavera, me imagino colores pasteles  y estampados florales.  Siento que Ted Baker es el mejor cuando se trata de estampados primaverales, siempre termino entrando a esta tienda en esta temporada. Por cierto, ¿vieron la nueva campaña? Me parece genial el uso de Instagram…las fotos de la campaña revela mensajes e imágenes escondidas cuando juegas con los filtros de la aplicación. Pero eso  no es todo, si sigues los siguientes pasos, puedes ganar un viaje a Portmeirion donde hicieron las fotos de la campaña).

3. Toma una captura de pantalla.

Sometimes I like planning my outfits ahead of time- maybe you saw a sneak peek of this outfit on instagram (@nanysklozet) or on Vine (Daniela Ramirez). During the day I wore a slightly different version of this outfit; it was a little hotter so I didn't wear the blazer and I wore blue pumps instead. On Tuesday I got together with an accessory brand here in Miami to discuss a possible collaboration in the close future...stay tuned! However, later that day I felt like making the look a little dressier with the blue blazer (well, and Miami's weather is crazy too and it's always good to have an extra layer just in case). I also switched to these pink-ish shoes because I didn't want to be too matchy matchy with blue blazer and blue heels.  The look was based around these shorts- I really like the funky "kaleidoscope" print. When it comes to wearing prints- besides pairing it with neutrals- I really like trying to bring out one of the colors of the print ( I feel like with the blue blazer, the blue geometric figures in the short stand out a little more). Este outfit lo había planeado la semana pasada - tal vez viste un adelanto en Instagram @nanysklozet o en Vine (Daniela Ramirez). Admito que durante el día utilicé una versión distinta del look: sin el blazer azul y unos zapatos cerrados azules en vez de estos- y me reuní con una marca de accesorios aquí en Miami...pronto les contaré más de esta posible colaboración. Fuimos a almorzar a un lugar riquísimo de crepes en Midtown. Pero al caer la tarde quise cambiar un poquito las piezas: agregué el blazer porque el clima de Miami está loco- y para no tener zapatos azules+blazer azul, cambié los tacones por rosa pálido. El look lo hice pensando totalmente en estos shorts- cuando se trata de piezas con algún estampado, en vez de jugar con colores neutrales...busco piezas que resalten alguno de los colores del estampado (siento que con el blazer azul se notan aún más las figuritas azules del short... ¿me explico?).
