I feel like I haven't done a "celebrity inspired" look in while... as you can see, today's look is inspired by Jessica Alba. I absolutely love this actress' style, she's always wearing something cute, casual, comfy, and colorful (the perfect C combo). The look is basically the same with the flared jeans and the green blazer.. the main difference, besides she's wearing a striped top, is the PRICE. If we are talking numbers; her blazer retails for $550, while mine is just $35 at Furor Moda!! And my complete look, including accesories, bag, shoes, etc costs less than her top. I hope you liked this look for less inspired by Jessica Alba. XOXO!

Siento que tenía muchísimo tiempo sin hacer un look inspirado en una celebridad, el de hoy como pueden ver es inspirado en Jessica Alba. El estilo de esta actriz me gusta mucho; es cómodo, colorido, casual pero chic (la combinación de c's perfecta!). El look es básicamente el mismo: con los pantalones acampanados y el blazer verde.... la mayor diferencia, aparte de que su camisa es de rayitas, es definitivamente el precio. Si nos ponemos a comparar, solo su blazer verde cuesta $550 mientras que el mío de Furor Moda solo $35. Mi look completo, incluyendo la cartera y accesorios cuesta menos que su camisa **pueden ver los precios exactos debajo**. The third day of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim was amazing, and a little long too! It started at the TRESemme suite where Marco Peña,  celebrity hairstylist, did my hair- we went for natural bohemian/beachy waves to go with my striped dress. Gabo came with me to the suite; we ate, drank, try new products, and did a fun video with a Jennifer Lopez song (the "I wanna dance"one). After that, I met with a UK magazine called Grazia UK and they took some outfit pics! Then we headed backstage where Marco Peña was in charge of doing the mode's hair, and Gabo had lots of fun taking some candid pictures of the models. Finally, we went to the "Agua Bendita" fashion show- which was AMAZING; I absolutely loved the prints and the bright colors. Oh and btw, the stripe dress was not only because it was perfect for the Miami heat... it worked with this week's challenge too. I hope you like the pictures! XOXO

El tercer día de Mercedes Benz Fashion Week en Miami fue otro día largo y espectacular- empecé en la suite de TRESemme en donde Marco Peña, estilista de celebridades, me peinó con unas ondas naturales y bohemias que fueran con mi vestido largo. Gabo me acompaño a la suite de TRESemme; y aparte de probar productos de la nueva colección, tuvimos que hacer un pequeño video con unos cartelitos y de fondo una canción de Jennifer Lopez. Después me reuní con una revista de Inglaterra llamada Gracia UK y me tomaron unas fotos. Ya más tardecita tuvimos la oportunidad de ir a los bastidores donde estaban peinando y maquillando a las modelos del siguiente desfile. Y finalmente fuimos al desfile de Agua Bendito, el cual me fascinó por sus estampados y colores- pueden ver muchas fotitos debajo. Sobre mi outfit: me moría por usar este vestido de rayitas (no solo por el reto, sino que fue perfecto para el calor infernal de Miami). Espero que disfruten las fotos... se que son muchísimas! This week was a little chaotic for me, I had to leave my apartment for safety reasons (because of heavy rain, water was coming inside to the fuse box... and electricity and water are a big no-no together!!) After turning the power off, I barely could find anything in my closet so I went for new pieces: this sheer dress and Wild Pair heels to add a little bit of print to a solid look. Because of the crazy rush, I forgot my curling iron so I could fix what the crazy rain did to my hair.... reason why I felt like I had kind of a "helmet hair"...but whatever haha. I wore this to go out to eat, come back home and then pick my mom from the airport (I'm so happy she's here!). Have an amazing weekend ! XOXO

BTW, I was supposed to cut my hair yesterday to donate it to cancer patients. However, the organization told me they were unable  to accept my hair because I got the Keratin treatment a while ago- which has me super sad because I really wanted to make a small difference. So I've been thinking and I really want to do something like donating the profit I make from selling some of my clothes- or doing a fun event and the entrance fee will go to some organization... we'll see! I'll let you girls know!

Esta semana fue un poco caótica, tuve que "evacuar" mi apartamento otra vez porque por culpa del condominio está entrando agua al panel de electricidad...lo que es un peligro. Tuve que irme a casa de mi novio,  y este vestidito fue lo primero que vi....luego rapido agregué accesorios marrones y mis zapatos nuevos de Bakers (que le dan un toque de estampado a un look tan sólido). Una de las cosas que se me olvidó llevar fue mi rizadora y justo el día anterior llovió, lo que hizo que odiara estas fotos porque parece que tuviera un casco de cabello jajaaj. Pero bueno; esto fue lo que utilicé para ir a comer, regresar a mi casita y buscar a mi mamá al aeropuerto en la noche (lo que me tiene feliz porque me está consintiendo!). Espero que pasen un feliz fin de semana!! Besos y abrazos!


Por cierto, el corte de cabello que les había mencionada tuvo que ser pospuesto- porque la asociación de cáncer me dijo que no lo podían aceptar por haberme hecho la queratina hace unos años. Lo queme tiene muy triste, pero estoy pensando que puedo hacer para lograr una diferencia. Tengo varias ideas, como vender cosas que no uso y donar el dinero que haga- hacer un evento de intercambio de ropa.. e igual que lo que la gente pague iría para alguna organización. Ya veremos, las mantengo al tanto de todo!
